Concept-Tel 8.0 is a full scale enterprise system for managing all facets of the wholesale carrier market. Built on the proven technology of Oracle 11G, Concept-Tel\s engine is capable of processing millions of calls per hour and storing them for over a year. Using multi-phase imports, the main database and import schedule can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The admin system handles all users, applications, versions, security levels, and individual access to each user/application.
BAS contains all data and functionality for billing on both the customer and vendor sides. Running off of live data will in-demand billing runs, BAS automatically creates and emails customer bills and optionally creates vendor bills basedon individually assigned billing cycles. Disputes filed by vendors are tracked and resolved, and custom response letters can be generated and emailed. Additional reports include traffic and dollar comparison for vendors, credit/deposit management, and overall financial exposure.
Farm primarily handles all information relating to rating, but also maintains data for digit-region mapping, call rounding and overrides, trunk-vendor assignments, Toll-Free/800 configurations, and least cost routing. Selling rate entry is restricted to a margin-controlled entry window, which will warn of low margins and prevent unacceptable margins according to limits maintained by supervisors. Rate imports will automatically manage variations in code breakouts for individual vendors. Farm also generates and emails rate amendment letters and data. All changes to rates, including adds, deletes and modifications, are stored for audit purposes, and are available in customizable management reports.
Tas is the main traffic reporting module in the Concept-Tel system. Tas contains many customized reports in different categories. Accrual reports are detailed summaries showing all traffic grouped by region, switch/trunk, and accounts. Drill down reports allow selection of a date range and direction (start from region, continent, rating area, or inbound or outbound vendor) and drill down for increasing detail. Rate utilization reports calculate the percentage of traffic spread across route choices to show optimization of routing configurations. Trend reports and graphs show traffic patterns over a day, week or month range. CDR reports provide access to raw call data and reroute capabilities. Most reports show raw/completed calls, completion ratios, overall margins and percentages, inbound and outbound costs, and allow for vendor level selection and IMT adjustment. Graphs allow on-the-fly selection of category data.
Concept-Tel 8.0 S is single server, reduced footprint version of the Concept-Tel 8.0 system. Targeted mainly at smaller carriers and start-up companies, this is the standard level implementation with little or no customization. Concept-Tel 8.0 S is configured to run very inexpensively using the Standard version of Oracle 11G and a single, departmental server.
Concept-Tel 8.0 E is the full application suite designed to run on 1-2 midrange servers in a high-availability setup running Oracle 11G Enterprise. Concept-Tel 8.0 E contains advanced features beyond the standard version, including automated rate imports, forecasting, margin alarms, routing files, partitioned CDR storage, and more. Concept-Tel 8.0 E is implemented with moderate customization to fit itself into pre-existing business processes and structures.
Concept-Tel 8.0 C is geared to larger private carriers and government customers. This is a customed system designed around the Concept-Tel 8.0 engine. Includes all of the features of Concept-Tel E with heavy customization.
